Allen L. Stevens

Allen L. Stevens, 84, of Mason City, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 125 E State Street, with Pastor Jerry Hull officiating. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania. Memorials may be directed to the family of Allen Stevens. 

Allen Leroy Stevens was born on October 16, 1939, in Mason City, Iowa to parents Clinton and Ruth (Allen) Stevens. He graduated from Mason City High School. After graduating, Allen became a farmer; an occupation he did his entire life. 

Al enjoyed fixing anything and everything. He had to know how everything worked. Al was very mechanical and could fix just about anything! Farming wasn’t just a job; he really enjoyed it. 

Allen is survived by his son, Randy (Theresa) Stevens; sister, Carol (Dwight) Miller; grandchildren, Samantha (Tyler) Ridder, Elizabeth (Cameron) Wike, Randy Stevens, Jr., and Katie (Bob) Havig; and several great grandchildren. 

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Terry Stevens.
