Ann S. Broughton

MASON CITY: Ann S. Broughton, 72, of Mason City, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery with Pastor Ed Bard. Per Ann’s request, she will be cremated and no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the North Iowa Humane Society. Ann was born March 1, 1942 in Fairbank, Iowa the daughter of Clarence and Eleanor (Wagner) Ressler. She married Neal Broughton September 6, 1975 in West Union, Iowa. Neal died in 2003. Ann is survived by her 2 children, Darcy (Lonnie) Voshell of West Union and Jay (Laurie) Broughton of New Hampton; grandchildren, Carter and Belle Broughton, Lindsi Voshell; great grandchildren, Evan and Charisma; brother, Gary (Charlotte) Ressler of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; ½ sister, Diane Ressler of Coon Rapids, Minnesota.Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Neal, and son Danny Myers.
