Beryl E. Arbogast, 87, of Mason City, IA, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Chaplain Janet Dorenkamp – Hospice of North Iowa officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at 1:35 PM on Wednesday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN (Assembly Area 6). Memorials may be directed to the Beryl Arbogast memorial fund in care of the family.

Beryl was born May 19, 1928, in Calcot Reading Berkshire England, the daughter of Charles Reginald and Lillian Edith Ellen (Sandford) Amor. She graduated from High School in England and continued her education at College in England. On September 2, 1950, Beryl married Wayne “Gabby” Arbogast in Watertown, SD. Beryl enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary.

Beryl is survived by 3 children: Sally Luvaas and husband Ken of Henry, SD, Mary Miller and husband Craig of Mason City, and Dixie Arbogast of North Branch, MN; 7 grandchildren: John Luvaas and wife Hope of Mequon, WI, Mark Luvaas and wife Jess of Lenox, SD, Russell Luvaas and wife Cate of Madison, SD, Amy Medlin and husband Brent of Rockford, IA, Cody Miller and wife Kortney of Kasson, MN, Cassie Fossey and husband Bryan of Osage, IA and Lance Arbogast and wife Kayde of Coon Rapids, MN; 15 great grandchildren; brother-in-law: Daryl Arbogast of Watertown, SD, 3 sisters-in-law: Donna Arbogast of Watertown, Cleta “Dusty” Lentsch of Salem, SD and Helen Amor of Punta Gorda, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wayne in 1997; granddaughter: Danielle Miller; 2 brothers: Ken Amor and John Amor; brother in-law: Keith Arbogast; and sister-in-law: Carol Arbogast.
