Borghild ?Bea? A. Everding, 93, Mason City, died Saturday (February 5, 2005) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday(February 8, 2005) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Miles Grismore, of the Faith Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Bea was born July 24, 1911 in rural St. Ansgar, the daughter of Gunvald and Karen (Abrahamson) Olson. She attended schools in St. Ansgar until graduation of high school, she then attended vocational school and received her L.P.N degree. On June 2, of 1934 she was united in marriage to Otto Everding in St. Ansgar. They spent 15 years in Grafton, until moving to Nora Springs to farm for the next 20 years, finally residing in Mason City in 1977. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Mason City. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bea is survived by her children, Richard and wife Linda Everding of Mason City, Romona and husband Jack Maxfield of Saratoga, California, Robert and wife Mary Everding of Omaha, Nebraska, Rosemary and husband Richard Mohnk of Hastings, Minnesota; grandchildren, Rodney Everding, Nancy and husband Steve Hugo, Jeanette Everding (Tom Martin), Erika Maxfield, Karla and husband Chris Brown, Jack Maxfield, Laura and husband Scott Powers, Daniel Everding, Courtney and Mark Mitchell, Lindsay Mohnk (Bryon Krause), Jill Mohnk, great grandchildren, Bobbi Jo, Zane, Charlie, Courtney, Zachrey, Olivia, Katherine, and Abigail. Bea?s husband, Otto, parents; four sisters, two brothers and grandson Mark precede her in death.
