Carma B. Hall

Carma B. Hall, 80, of 4 Hawthorne, died Monday (September 15, 2003) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Kenneth Hatland officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM Thursday till time of service at the church. Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Iowa. Carma was born November 9, 1922 in Kensett, Iowa the daughter of William and Minnie (Hauge) Aasland. She attended country schools near Leland. Carma married Frank C. Hall November 23, 1941 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She was employed by Jacob E. Decker and Sons for 39 years retiring in 1978. Carma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, enjoyed cooking and bird watching. Carma is survived by her husband; Frank C. Hall of Mason City, son; Dr. James C. Hall and wife Jane of Dubuque, daughter; Connie R. Vierkant and husband James of Thornton, Grandchildren; Lindsay Golich, Brandon and Andrew Hall, James Vierkant, several nieces and nephews.
