Christie Carol (Dittberner) Huebner

MASON CITY ? Christie Carol (Dittberner) Huebner, 39 was called to heaven on August 9, 2005 following severe complications from juvenile diabetes. Funeral services for Christie will be held at 2 PM on Saturday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Jeff Dahlen of Praise Community Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 ? 7 PM on Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the Christie Carol (Dittberner) Huebner Memorial Fund. Christie was born October 23, 1965 in Mason City the daughter of Lee and Judy (Hendrickson) Dittberner. She was baptized at the Open Bible Church in Clear Lake and attended schools in Mason City. Christie was united in marriage to Kevin Huebner on February 19, 1983 at the Open Bible Church in Clear Lake. To this union three children were born, Kyle, Cody and Amanda Huebner. Christie enjoyed making crafts for her family and friends. She loved family get-togethers, Bar-B-Q?s and going on family vacations. Christie was known for collecting angels. She enjoyed spending time with her children, nieces and nephews. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Kevin Huebner and their two sons Kyle and Cody all of Mason City; parents, Judy and Lee Dittberner of Mason City; Sister, Julie Berding and husband John of Mason City; Mother and Father-in-law, Dale and Carol Huebner of Mason City; Brother-in-law, Craig Huebner and wife Jeanne of Mason City; Sister-in-laws, Laura Boeckholt and husband Randy of Forest City, Kim Huebner and special friend Tom Bell of Mason City and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins and her loving dog, Sable. Christie was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda, grandparents, Kenneth and Nevelyn Hendrickson and Albert and Martha Dittberner and one uncle, David Shinn.
