Connie Jo Lichman

Connie Jo Lichman, 64, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center surrounded by family. Per Connie’s request, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family of Connie Lichman. 

Connie was born on October 29, 1959, to parents Thomas and Marian (McGowan) Halloran in Mason City. She attended Newman Catholic High School. Connie was united in marriage to Donald Lichman on April 2, 1983, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The couple were blessed with three children. Connie was a homemaker, and later she was employed at Hobby Lobby, where she worked for 15 years until her retirement. 

In her free time, Connie loved going to garage sales and thrift stores. She enjoyed watching soap operas, especially Days of Our Lives. Connie loved purple, tie dye, and peace signs. She was a true hippie at heart. She also enjoyed doing various crafts, scrapbooking, and coloring. Her most treasured memories were playing and coloring with her grandchildren. Connie was known to make the best handprint sandwiches! 

Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was extremely hardworking, caring, and forgiving. Above all else, Connie always provided for her family. She will be deeply missed. 

Connie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Don Lichman; her children, Adam (Callie) Lichman, Amber (Brandon) Broers, and April (Dan) Broers; grandchildren, Peyton and Piper Lichman, Ezra and Hazel Broers, and Greyson and Boedy Broers; mother, Mary Lou Halloran; sister, Debbie (Pat) Drummer; and two brothers, Tim Halloran and Bill Halloran.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Tom Halloran; nieces, Crystal Halloran Drummer and Katelyn Halloran; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
