Conrad C. Peck, 78, of 15651 Nettle Avenue, died Sunday (August 15, 2004) at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at the Open Bible Church, 609 S. 8th Street, Clear Lake with Pastor Will Hunsaker officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue and continue one hour before services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Conrad C. Peck Memorial Fund. Conrad was born December 22, 1925 in Britt, Iowa the son of Ellsworth and Gayle (Raw) Peck. He served in the US Navy during W.W. II. Conrad married Ruthyvonne Lunning November 13, 1947 in Mason City. He worked at Northwestern States Portland Cement Company for many years. In addition to his work at the cement company, Conrad also farmed Southwest of Mason City for many years. He was a member of the Open Bible Church in Clear Lake. Conrad is survived by his wife, Ruthyvonne of Mason City; 3 sons, Michael C. Peck of Mason City, Thomas A. Peck of Mason City, Victor G. Peck and wife Sandy J. of Mason City; granddaughter, Amy L. Peck of Mason City; sister, Betty Corbett of Chicago, IL; brother, Douglas Peck and wife Jean of Dubuque, several nieces and nephews. Conrad is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Jack and William.
