David Joseph Zbanek

David Joseph Zbanek, 58, of Mason City, Iowa, died quietly and peacefully at his home, Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at The Main Event, 112 2nd Street SE, Mason City, IA 50401.

David was born May 13, 1959 to Gayle M Johnson Zbanek and William Zbanek in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

David is survived by long-time partner and friend Barb Zellmer Mason City, Iowa.

David is survived by his father, William Zbanek of Swisher, Iowa; his siblings: Darlene Zbanek of Denver, Colorado, Daniel Kimball of New Caney, Texas, L. Douglas (Margie) Kimball of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dennis (Roxanne) Hoover of Lisbon, Iowa, and William (Kelly) Zbanek of Swisher, Iowa.

David is preceded by Gayle M. Porazil, Clifford and Loueva Johnson.

David loved fishing, boating and the outdoors as well as cars and trucks. We will miss him dearly.
