David Reab

David J. Reab, 60, of Leavenworth, KS, formerly of Mason City, died Monday, April 14, 2003 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Funeral services for David will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 17, 2003 at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave, with Rev. Chris Podhajsky, St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Visitation will be held at Major Erickson Funeral Home from 5 ? 8 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2003. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, IA. David was born January, 25, 1943, in Garner, the son of Lester L. Reab Sr. and Anna J. (Frid) Reab. David graduated from Mason City High School in 1961, and also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. David operated many theatre?s in Iowa, including Mason City, Clear Lake, Algona, Oskaloosa, Florida, and for the past ten years he managed the Landing 4 Theatre?s in Leavenworth, KS. He is survived by two brothers Lester (Glennavon) of Waterloo, William (Emily) of Appleton, WI, two sisters, Shirley Reab of Waterloo, Leanna (Leo) Johnson of Mason City and special sister Gloria Hill of Waterloo. He is also survived by his young people that were his special family from Leavenworth, KS. Also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
