Delores A. Blanchard, 70, of Mason City, died Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at First Covenant Church, HWY 122 @ South Ohio with the Rev. Craig Pinley officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9 - 11 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Delores A. Blanchard memorial fund. Delores A. Blanchard was born in LaCrosse, WI on August 18, 1937 the daughter of Rudolph and Arline (Hansen) Graff. She was married to William Blanchard on November 14, 1953 and to this union, five children were born. Delores spent much of her life in Lacrosse, WI until moving to Mason City twenty years ago. She enjoyed crafts and running craft shows. She cherished the time she spent with the foster grandparent program. Family was important to her and cherished the time she spent with them. She was an active member of First Covenant Church and also Bethel Lutheran in LaCrosse, WI. She is survived by her children, Jef Blanchard of Britt, Barbara Seielstad and husband Paul of Sparta, WI, Lisa Redig and husband Steve of Britt, Scott Blanchard and Denise of Thornton, IA, and Joe Blanchard and wife Edie of Mason City; grandchildren, Nathanael, Isaac, Danielle, and Adam Blanchard, Tyler and Kevin Seielstad,Ryan, Allison, and Katelyn Redig, Melissa and Amy Martin, Ashley Williams, and Amanda Blanchard; great-grandchildren; sister, Marion Engles; brother, David Graff; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Arline Graff; husband, William Blanchard; and sister, Phyllis Chambers.
