Delores Ann Younke

Delores A. Younke, 71, of Mason City, died Friday (December 10, 2004) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday (December 13, 2004)at Holy Family Catholic Church, 714 North Adams, with Rev. Jon Seda officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday(December 12, 2004) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Memorials may be given to the Delores A.Younke Memorial Fund. Delores was born March 23, 1933 in Mason City, the daughter of Charles and Violet (Kopps) Clausen. She attended Grant Elementary and Roosevelt Jr. High. She married Charles R. Younke at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in 1949. Delores received her L.P.N. degree in 1978 from N.I.A.C.C. and worked at Good Shepherd Health center for nine years. Delores?s survivors include her son, Charles D. Younke and wife Jo Ellen, of Mason City; daughters, Sue Graf and husband Charlie of Mason City, Debbie Boster and husband Dennis of Omaha, Nebraska; brothers, William Clausen and wife Phyllis of Mason City, and Michael Clausen and wife Linda of Mason City; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Delores?s parents, husband, Charles R. Younke preceded her in death.
