Delos C. Lance

MASON CITY: Delos C. Lance, 93, of Mason City, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Health Center. No services are scheduled at this time. Delos has donated his body to the Mayo Clinic Department of Anatomy, Rochester, Minnesota. Memorials may be given to the Delos Lance Memorial Fund. Delos was born May 25, 1921 in Sheffield, Iowa the son of Walter and Jennie (Neve) Lance. He was employed by Jacob E. Decker and Sons (Armour Company) for many years. Delos was a long time resident of Mason City. He is survived by his wife, Marie of Mason City; 4 children, 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 3 siblings, and his favorite dog, Maddie. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 siblings.
