Deva U. Wurn

PLYMOUTH: Deva U. Wurn, 76, of Plymouth, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Nora Springs Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Plymouth Bible Baptist Church, Plymouth, with Pastor Paul Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Plymouth Bible Baptist Church. Deva was born January 15, 1939 in Austin, Minnesota the daughter of Lester and Iona (Travis) Wurn. Her family moved to Plymouth in 1947. Deva graduated from Plymouth High School in 1957. Deva had worked at the Donut House in Manly during the time her parents, Lester and Iona, owned the business. She was active in the Senior Citizens Center in Plymouth and Rock Falls. She was a member of the Plymouth Bible Baptist Church. Deva is survived by several cousins, close friends and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
