Dixie L. Parriera

Dixie L. Parriera, 82, of Mason City, IA, died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Rolling Acres Christian Reformed Church.

Dixie was born July 15, 1933 in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Effie (Klausen) Cunningham. She attended and later graduated from Mason City High School.

Over the years Dixie became fond of crocheting and stitching embroidery work. She looked forward to rides around the lake and family shopping outings. Dixie’s pride and joy was found in her family as she enjoyed spending time with each and everyone of them.

Those thankful for having shared in Dixie’s life include her children: Katherine Enabnit, Jacquelyn Smith, Charla Tschumper, Robert Turner and Steve Turner.
Mrs. Parriera was preceded in death by her parents, husband Manuel and two sons, Ronald Staley and Jon Turner.

Dixie’s legacy lives on thru her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
