Douglas C. Robertson

Douglas C. Robertson, 50, of 1530 N. Madison, Mason City, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa.    Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Pastor Tom Healey, Chaplain Hospice of North Iowa  officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the Douglas Robertson memorial fund in C/O Major Erickson Funeral Home.
 
Doug was born July 12, 1957 in Mason City the son of Harold and Lorraine (Widdrington) Robertson.  He married his wife Debra Robertson on December 31, 1981. Doug & Deb raised three children Chad, Keith, & Sarah.  He was an avid golfer & spent his free time playing with his grandchildren & following their activities.
 
He is survived by his wife Deb, children Chad Arndt and wife Janna, Keith Arndt and wife Janell, and Sarah Robertson, three brothers Mick, Jack, & Randy, and two sisters DeeDee & Dory, and seven grandchildren: Caleb, Brittney, Alexis, Brecken, and Brooklyn Arndt, Skyler Johnson, and Brennan Schmidt.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lorraine Robertson and two brothers Steve & Ken.
