Edward VanHeiden

Edward VanHeiden, 70, of 304 3rd Street NE, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Plymouth Bible Baptist Church, Plymouth with Pastor Paul Schaefer officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Andrews Cemetery, Waverly, Iowa at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue and continue at the church one hour before the service. Memorials may be given to the Edward VanHeiden Memorial Fund. Edward was born Janaury 10, 1937 in Iowa Falls, Iowa the son of Charles and Vivian (Adams) VanHeiden. He was united in marriage to Laura Davis February 12, 1961 in Stanley, Iowa. Edward is survived by his wife, Laura of Mason City, daughters, Diana Shifley of Mason City, Linda Mandras (Jim) of Madison, Alabama, son, Keith VanHeiden (Cindy) of Leeds, Alabama, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Edward is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
