Einar V. Anderson

Einar V. Anderson, 91 of Mason City died Monday, February 2, 2004 at Heritage Care Center in Mason City. Funeral services for Einar will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2004 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Paul Finger of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Einar V. Anderson was born May 15, 1912 the son of Axel and Ellen (Anderson) Anderson in Galva, Illinois. Shortly after he was born the family moved to Wisconsin and then at age six the family came to Mason City. Einar attended rural school and worked on the farm in his youth. He farmed for many years in rural Mason City until he retired. Einar was united in marriage to Pearl Brunvold Johnson on December 17, 1977 in Mason City. Einar was a longtime and faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was also a member of the Farm Bureau. Those left to cherish his memory are: Step-daughter: Iona Radcliff and husband Dale of Mason City Step-son: Ray E. Johnson and wife Susan of Wayzatta, Minnesota Brother: Lehman Anderson and wife Kay of Ankeny, Iowa Brother: Reinold Anderson and wife Jean of Davenport, Iowa Sister: Eunice Troyer and husband Arvid of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Sister-in-Law: Dorothy Anderson of Ames, Iowa Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pearl and one brother, Floyd.
