Evelyn N. McNeil

Clear Lake Evelyn N. McNeil, 89, of Clear Lake, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the Oakwood Care Center. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Elmwood- St. Joseph Cemetery with Pastor Ed Bard, Chaplain - Hospice of North Iowa, officiating. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa or the Evelyn McNeil Memorial Fund in care of the family.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters: Marty (Martha) McNeil Lundberg and husband John of Clear Lake, Christine Ann McNeil of BelAir, MD; four grandchildren: Kathleen Christine Lundberg Gates and husband David of Prairieville, LA, Michael David Lundberg and wife Angela of Ankeny, IA, Kurt Parker and wife DeAnn of Baltimore, MD, and Andrew Parker of BelAir, MD; two great grandchildren: Brian Gates and Megan Gates.
She was preceded in death her husband: Donald McNeil on June 11, 2007. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Super Stars at Oakwood Care Center. Their compassionate care, endless patience, and cheerful professionalism brought comfort and peace to us all.
