Frank C. Hall, 83, of 4 Hawthorne, died Monday (October 13, 2003) at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. James M. Magelssen officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services Thursday at the church. Memorials may be given to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa Dialysis Center. Frank was born July 31, 1920 in rural Grafton, Iowa the son of Orin C. and Anna B. (Tyler) Hall. He graduated from Kensett High School in 1938. Frank worked for Jacob E. Decker & Sons for a year then married Carma B. Aasland November 23, 1941 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. In 1943, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served as a radioman during WW II. Following his discharge, he returned to Mason City where he worked as service manager for Jerry Lowell Mercury. In 1958, Frank went to work for Farmers Co-op Gas & Oil and worked there until his retirement in 1987. Frank was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he ushered for many years, enjoyed fine cars, dancing and was a loving father, devoted husband and will be missed by many. Frank is survived by his son; Dr. James C. Hall and wife Jane of Dubuque, daughter; Connie R. Vierkant and husband James of Thornton, grandchildren; Lindsay Golich and husband Steve, Brandon and Andrew Hall, James Vierkant and wife Sheri, brother; Floyd Hall of Northwood, several nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Carma in September, several brothers and sisters.
