George Page Reynolds

March 25, 1921 — September 12, 2015

WEST DES MOINES: George Page Reynolds, 94, of West Des Moines, formerly of Mason City, died Saturday, September 12, 2015 in West Des Moines. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Keith Scott officiating. Inurnment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the George Page Reynolds Memorial Fund.
Page was born March 25, 1921 in Plymouth, Iowa the son of George A. and Alice (Page) Reynolds. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1939. Page served overseas during WWII in the US Army Air Corp. Page married Helen Hinrichsen November 14, 1941 in Rock Falls. Page and Helen later moved to Mason City making their home on South Vermont. Page worked in the construction business, Percy Construction, for a number of years and would he would later work in real estate as a realtor here in Mason City. Some of his interests included, bowling, golfing and fishing.
Page is survived by his son, Gary (Cindy) Reynolds of Wes Des Moines; 2 grandchildren, Aaron and Jayme Reynolds of West Des Moines; brother, Bill (Jeanne) Reynolds of Maplewood, Minnesota; 2 sisters-in-law, Liz Hinrichsen of Rock Falls and Louise Hinrichsen of Osage; several nieces and nephews.
Page was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Helen in 2011 and 1 brother, Art.
