Georgia D. Graf, 89, of Mason City, died Monday, November 12, 2018 at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday November 15, 2018, at Elmwood St-Joseph Cemetery with Rev. Neil Manternach officiating.
Memorials can be made out to Hospice of North Iowa, 232 2nd St NE or Epiphany Parish, 300 5th St SE.
Georgia was born on July 12, 1929 in Mason City, the daughter of George and Josephine Harklerode. She graduated from Holy Family Catholic School in 1948 and married Arthur C. Graf in 1949.
Georgia’s many joys were her family, shopping, baking, collecting recipe books, and enjoying her flowers.
Georgia is survived by her children, JoDee (Doug) Ward of Mason City, Janie (Robert Van Vleck) Simon of Pamona, MO. Jim (Vicky) Graf of Onalaska, WI. Grandchildren, Jennifer (Corey) Martin, John (Anne) Ward, Mathew Simon, Mike (Kira) Graf, Sarah (Jeremy) Clemons, Katie (Robert) Schrooten, and David (Jenny) Graf; nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and a special cousin Dave (Alice) Adams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; in laws, Peter and Mary Graf; husband Arthur in 2001; her brother George and wife Mollie, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa or Epiphany Parish, Mason City.
Georgia gives special thanks to Hospice, all her caretakers, especially Katrina. Also her dear friend, Dr. Reisen, and nurse, Laurie.
