Gladys Adams

Gladys M. Adams, 82, of Mason City, IA, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Good Shepherd Health Care Center. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Ave, with Rev. Keith Scott of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no Visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Gladys M. Adams Memorial Fund. Gladys was born June 12, 1925 in Mason City, the daughter of Martin M. and Mary L. (Neiss) Tagesen. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1942 and then attended Hamilton?s Business College. She married Oliver ?Pete? Adams on October 19, 1943 in Northwood, IA. Gladys loved horses. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and feeding the deer. Gladys is survived by several nieces and nephews and a special friend from Hospice: Dee Arduser. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oliver in 2005; three brothers: Marcus Tagesen, Martin Tagesen, and Donald Tagesen; two sisters: Leona Tagesen and Ruby Stoltenberg.
