Gladys Edna Tesene

Gladys Edna Tesene, 90 of rural Mason City, died Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, November 7, 2003, at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Healey, Chaplain Hospice of North Iowa officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, rural Rockwell. Visitation will be from 4:00 ? 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2003, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania. Memorials may be given to the Gladys E. Tesene Memorial Fund. Gladys was born, July 14, 1913 at Swaledale, Iowa the daughter of Louis F. and Edna Mary (England) Kruggel. She graduated from Swaledale High School and attended Iowa State Teacher?s College, Cedar Falls where she received her teachers certificate. Gladys was married to Walter K. Tesene on June 4, 1932 in Nashua, Iowa. She lived in Swaledale for 18 years and rural Clear Lake for 72 years. Gladys was a member of the Home Improvement Club, Swaledale Federated Garden Club, CCIC Club, DD Club and Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake. Survived by Daughter ?
