Gladys F. Hull

Gladys F. Hull, 92, of Mason City went to her heavenly home Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Health Center. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Cedar Cemetery, Larrabee, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Iowa Hospice. Gladys was born April 22, 1920 in Larrabee, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Florence (Arrasmith) Urban. She graduated from Larrabee High School. Gladys married Ralph E. Hull June 30, 1941 in Omaha, Nebraska. Gladys worked for the Singer Company for 31 years, retiring in 1978. While at Singer, she worked in sales and taught sewing. She moved from Cherokee, Iowa to Mason City in 1963. Gladys enjoyed sewing and having family and friends over for coffee and treats. The family would like to “thank” Good Shepherd Heath Center and Iowa Hospice for the care Gladys received. Gladys is survived by her daughters, Arvella (Louis) Henderson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Sheryl (Fred) Kramer of Mason City; grandchildren, Cindy, Lori, Gregory, Marcia, Bradley, Patrick, Troy, and Laurel; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Alice (Herman) Magana of Yuma, Arizona, brother, Wayne (Bonnie) Urban of Lake Mills, sister, Lovella Reusch of Colorado Springs, Colorado; many nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Mike Hull; 3 sisters, Ardis, Eleanor, and Louise; 2 brothers, Glen and Francis Urban.
