Gladys Finch

Gladys Bartusek Finch, 97,of 302 2nd St. NE, died Saturday (January 10, 2004) at Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church, 200 14th Street NW, with Rev. Sarah Rohret Odoom officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour before services Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to Grace United Methodist Church or Hospice of North Iowa. Gladys was born July 7, 1906 in Mason City the daughter of John and Anna (Werner) Bartusek. She lived in Plymouth for a while then attended school in Mason City. Gladys married Elmer F. Finch August 25, 1928 in Mason City. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Gladys?s family includes, Marlys Bartusek and husband Robert (deceased) of Nora Springs, Shirley Suby and husband Leon of Mason City; great nieces and nephews, Crystal Suby, Denise Rottinghaus, Scott Suby, Dennis and David Bartusek; 9 great great nieces and nephews; special friends, Dixie Mennen and Dorothy Rezab. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Finch; brother, Cleo Bartusek and nephew, Bob Bartusek
