Harry G. Willcox, 79, of 807 N. Pennsylvania Avenue died Sunday (June 15, 2003) at home. Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Kenneth Hatland, Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Harry G. Willcox Memorial Fund. Harry was born August 8, 1923 in Mason City the son of Ora G. and May A. (Weir) Willcox. He graduated from Mason City High School. Harry served as a Seaman 1st Class in the US Navy during WWII. He married Betty C. DeMoss September 3, 1957 in Mason City. He worked for Lehigh Cement Co. for 7 years then owned and operated the Elms Hotel for 26 years. Harry was a lifetime member of the VFW, a member of the American Legion, DAV, Moose Lodge and an avid racecar fan. Harry is survived by his wife; Betty C.
