Helen M. Huzl, 89, of 410 South Van Buren, Mason City, died Sunday, May 4, 2003 at the Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday in the WaySide Chapel of the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Douglas Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Tuesday at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania and one hour before service time at the Church. Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church in her memory. Helen was born August 13, 1913 in Mason City the daughter of Frank J. and Frances (Jecmen) Huzl. She attended school here in Mason City. She worked at Chicago Meat and Grocery for many years and several years at Roller City Skating Rink. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for over 50 years and belonged to Western Fraternal Life Association (W.F.L.A.) for over 50 years. Survivors: Brother ? Frank J.
