Herman J. Lundberg, 78, of 1417 Birch Drive, died Monday (January 31, 2005) at the Good Shepherd Health Center. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Willson Chapel, First Congregational United Church of Christ, 100 1st St. NE with Rev. Samuel Hamilton-Poore officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the First Congregational United Church of Christ or Hospice of North Iowa. Herman was born June 1, 1926 in Lund, Wisconsin the son of Herman J. and Harriett (Olson) Lundberg. He graduated from Eau Claire High School, Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Wisconsin State College. Herman served in the Army Air Force from 1944 to 1946. He married Marjorie A. Anderson September 2, 1950 in Eau Claire. Herman worked as a sales manager for Murphy Oil Company for 27 years. He retired in 1991. After living in Atlanta, Georgia for many years, Herman and wife Marjorie moved to Mason City in 2002. Herman is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Mason City; daughters, Marilyn Gaudreault and husband John of Omaha, NE, Barbara Moreau and husband Tim of Mason City, Nancy Loschiavo and husband John of Paris, France; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Sarah, Nicole, Peter, Erik, Brian and Emma; brother, Kenneth Lundberg of Eau Claire, WI.
