James 'Jimmy' J. Hayes

MASON CITY James Jimmy J. Hayes, 57, of Hampton, died Friday, October 14, 2011, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2011, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ed Bard, Hospice of North Iowa Chaplain, officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton, 700 2nd St. S.E., Hampton, Iowa, 50441.
Jimmy was born December 16, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Henry and Ramona Hayes. He enjoyed watching television and listening to music, occasionally singing along, to the dismay of those around him. He also enjoyed working with his hands and participated in activities around the care center.
Jimmy is survived by his brother, Raymond Hayes of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and aunt, Meta Schiff.
