Jean "Jeannie" Graupmann

Jean “Jeannie” Graupmann, 57, of Mason City, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N Pennsylvania Ave. Services will be livestreamed on the Major Erickson Funeral Home YouTube page.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday. Inurnment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family of Jean Graupmann.

Jean Kae Graupmann was born on March 13, 1963, in Arlington, MN to parents Roland and Luella (Johnson) Graupmann. Jeannie attended high school in Lake Mills but spent the majority of her life in Minnesota. Jeannie will always be remembered for her kindness and her ever giving nature always willing to help others and lend a helping hand. Jeannie always loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She enjoyed painting the rooms in her home always changing the color and updating the décor. During the winters she enjoyed sledding and during the summers it was playing horseshoes with her family.

Jeannie is survived by her mother, Luella Graupmann; siblings, Cheryl Young, Joan Ross, Jamie Graupmann; children, Cathleen Miller, Cassie Miller, Bradley (Jamie) Graupmann, Cayla Graupmann; grandchildren, Jacob (Jordan) Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell, Matthew Williams, Jaxten Cabrera; Dogs Harley and Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Graupmann; fiancé, Jeffrey Sprague; brother, Jeffrey Graupmann.
