John Halkas

Chicago, IL - John Halkas, 85, of Chicago, Illinois formerly of Mason City, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Methodist Home in Chicago.  Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday (March 15, 2008) at Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City, with the Rev. Joseph Mirowski of the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church officiating.  Veterans Honors will be performed by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.  Memorials may be directed to the John Halkas memorial fund.
