Joseph Perkins, 37, of Mason City, went to be with his Savior, Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 North Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Steve Palo officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood ? St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 PM ? 7 PM Tuesday (May 8, 2007) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. and one hour prior to the church service. Memorials may be given to the Joseph Perkins Memorial Fund. Joseph Scott Perkins was born January 10, 1970 in Robbinsdale, MN, the son of Robert and Sandra (Parker) Perkins. He graduated from Isle High School in 1998. Joseph grew up in Minnesota and moved to Mason City in 1995. He married Cyndy Allison on May 4, 1996 in Mason City. Joseph was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching professional wrestling and cooking shows on TV, spending time on the computer, and playing with his dog, ?Chumley?. Joseph is survived by his wife: Cyndy of Mason City, his mother: Sandra Chaika of Mound, MN; his grandfather: Lyle Parker of New Brighton, MN; his mother and father-in-law: Melvin and Sharon Allison of Ionia, IA; his puppy: Chumley; one nephew: Justin; four nieces: Kira, Cassidy, Valerie and Marissa; and several brothers and sisters-in-laws. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmother: Ursula Parker.
