Joyce A. Larson, age 68, of Mason City, IA passed away April 1, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place April 11, 2015 at East Park, Mason City, from 1-4pm shelter #4. Memorials may be directed to Joyce Larson fund in care of the family, 930 N. Harrison Ave Mason City, IA 50401. Joyce was born in Mason City on Nov.10,1946 to George and Verdie (Reynolds) Kenward. She work at various factories in the Mason City area for many years. On Nov. 11, 1998 she was joined in marriage to Dennis L. Larson. She loved her family, friends and her cats. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to country music and leisure drive to see the fall foliage. She was survived by her daughter Sandy Steele of Mason City, IA. Granddaughters Jennifer Steele of Mason City, Ia. and Melanie Steele and her fiancé Travis Sullivan of Cedar Falls, IA. as well as her brother Roger Kenward, sisters Velma Reynold, Karen Kuhl and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Dennis on January 23,2015 Her sister Karman Ackerman and brother Harley Kenward. A message Joyce wrote and meant with deep feelings was, 'Stop the world I want to get off to say, how the Lord Jesus has made my day and if only all could obey. What a wonderful world we'd have today. So pray to make this world a place to stay, until the open arms of Him will embrace and make this world he planned as a to stay until its time by Gods grace, join him in his heavenly place. Amen.
