Judy Dittberner, 81, of Mason City was called to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family of Judith Dittberner and can be mailed to her daughter’s home at 2118 S Monroe Ave, Mason City.
Judy was born January 6th, 1942, in Leroy, MN at her farmhouse to Kenneth Hendrickson and Nevelyn Hendrickson “Mathews” and was the oldest of eight children. Most of her life was spent in Mason City, IA where she lived and worked, with her last employment being a custodian at Mercy for 25 years. Judy retired at the age of 74, which she was so proud of.
Judy was married to Lee Dittberner on November 2nd, 1963, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Mason City and with this union two daughters were born, Christie and Julie.
Judy enjoyed any type of yard work and keeping busy around the house. Judy loved get togethers with her family, sharing laughs and joking around with her siblings, “the crazy 8”. She was especially fond of her two birds Tweety & Chico, and her newest addition, her kitty Chloe. Judy enjoyed going on vacation with her children & grandchildren. Judy was a strong-willed woman and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy is survived by her daughter Julie Berding; grandchildren Eric Dittberner, Sara Berding, Jace Berding, Kyle Huebner, and Cody Huebner; great-grandchildren Carter Huebner and Aubrey Huebner; son in-law Kevin Huebner; sisters Nancy (Ron) Worley, Deb (Lon) Helmer; brothers Gary (Nancy) Hendrickson, Bob (Kathy) Hendrickson, Kevin (Renee) Hendrickson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Lee Dittberner; daughter Christie Huebner; parents Kenneth and Nevelyn Hendrickson; granddaughter Amanda Huebner; brother Kenneth (Babe) Hendrickson; sister Cindy Shinn; nephew Justin Hendrickson.
