Kandrea 'Kandi Kisses' was born August 27, 1975, in Eldora, IA, the daughter of Ronald D. and Polly V. (Moore) Bellinghausen. She touched many lives with her love and joy for life. In spite of spending her life in a crippled body, Kandi was the happiest person anyone could ever meet. She found joy in the simplest of things. She would scream with joy at people's mere presence in the room. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a memory like an elephant. If she met anyone once she would remember them for life. Kandi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. From the minute she was born Kandi was always in the center of any activity the family was doing. With the aid of her mother's brilliant creativity Kandi had a custom made bed and chair with custom made matching outfits for every event. She was a flower girl and junior bride in her sisters weddings. Becoming an aunt and holding her baby nieces was her ultimate joy. She was best known for her ability to cheer anyone up no matter what was wrong. Kandi taught people a special love. She was truly an angel lent to a family for 40 beautiful years. An angel returned home with a new body and slippers with wings.
Kandi is survived by her mother: Polly Bellinghausen of Mason City; 4 siblings: Lori E. Timson and husband Thomas of Cape Coral, FL, Ronald D. Bellinghausen Jr. of Cape Coral, FL, Penny M. Hammer of Forest City, IA, and Fawn T. Bellinghausen of Mason City; many nieces and nephews including Lexxis Bellinghausen of Des Moines, IA, Brooke Berding of Mason City, IA, and Elizabeth Ridge of Corydon. She is also survived by her friends at Comprehensive Systems and Mercy Home Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents: Frank and Mary Bellinghausen and Mart and Clustina Moore.
