Kandy J. Rockwell

Kandy J. Rockwell, 54, of Mason City, IA, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 21, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Pastor Jason Miner with Church of Christ officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home and continue one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kandy Rockwell memorial fund in care of the family.

Kandy was born March 10, 1961, in Mason City, the daughter of Lionel and Beverly (Jackson) Foster. She attended Mason City Public Schools. Kandy enjoyed spending time with her family, BBQ’s and taking care of her two dogs “Happy” and “Squirt”. She also enjoyed working as a waitress.

Kandy is survived 5 children: Michael Fransen Jr. and wife Shelly of Mason City, Brandi Jo Arnold and husband Chuck of Idaho, Stevie Jo Rockwell of Mason City, Brittnie Lee Jackson of Mason City, and Sami Jo Rockwell of Mason City; 13 grandchildren: Zachary Anderson, Zane Kelly, Hayley Jo Fransen, Michael Fransen III, Mia Fransen, Callie Fransen, Codi Arnold, Charles Arnold, Emily Arnold, Josie Arnold, Jayshawn Davis, Brenden Michael Jones and Gracelynn Barnish; her father: Lionel Foster; siblings: Dawn Foster, Danette Foster, Dina Foster, Lionel Foster Jr., Darlinda Foster and Kristle Foster. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Beverly Foster; grandparents: Evelyn and Charles Jackson; aunt: Charlene Tate; and uncle: Dean Jackson.
