Kathleen A. Hackbart

Kathleen A. Hackbart, 64, and Kenneth W. Hackbart, 61, of Mason City, IA, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at their home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2017, at Grace United Methodist Church, 200 14th Street NW, with Rev. Steve Hansen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Kathleen was born November 24, 1952, in Mason City, the daughter of Ernest W. and Donnabelle M. (Carson) Maxson. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1970. Kathleen was a homemaker.

Kenneth was born February 20, 1956, in Osage, IA, the son of Elroy and Joyce (Nitcher) Hackbart. He graduated from Manly High School in 1974, and continued his education at Kaplan University. Kenneth worked in auto parts sales for numerous years.

Kathleen and Kenneth were united in marriage on June 13, 1982, at Grace United Methodist Church. They enjoyed spending time with family and friends. They also enjoyed camping, playing cards and going for car and motorcycle rides. They were members of Grace United Methodist Church.

Kathleen and Kenneth will be greatly missed by their family and friends.
