Larry D. Cline

Larry D. Cline, 84, formerly of Mason City, died on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Nora Springs Care Center. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N Pennsylvania Ave. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Major Erickson Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary.

Larry Dean Cline was born on December 25, 1939, in Winnebago County to parents Joe and Alice (Heitland) Cline. Larry graduated from Crystal Lake High School in 1957. He then attended Hamilton Business College, graduating in 1960. Larry began working as an accountant and did so until his retirement. 

Larry is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Charlie) Connor; grandson, Colby Connor; granddaughter, Staci (Matt) Sberal; great grandchildren, Kendall and Andrew Sberal; brother, Kenneth (MaryBeth) Cline; sisters-in-law, Rose (Neal) Santee and Shirley Ostendorf; many nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Donna; son, Steven; parents, Joe and Alice Cline; sisters, Darlene Schlette, Shirley Bilyeu and Janice Bilyeu.
