Lee Roy Findling

Lee Roy Findling, 77, of Mason City, died Monday, July 9, 2007 at Good Shepherd Health Center. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday (July 13, 2007) at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Tom Healey, Hospice of North Iowa Chaplain officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Memorials may be given to the Good Shepherd Health Center. Lee Roy was born March 31, 1930 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Goldie T. and F. Ruth (Brooking) Findling. Lee attended school in Mason City, graduating in 1947. He then attended Mason City Jr. College and then Upper Iowa University in Fayette, IA. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was discharged in 1952. He worked most of his life as a self-employed Accountant and also as an Investment Counselor at the Armour Company. He was a member of the International Accountants Society and also the VFW. Lee Roy is survived by his sisters, Judy Williams, Sharon Pruessner and husband Robert, Joanne Dill, Iva Lee Lichman and husband Jim. Lee Roy is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters.
