Lillian May Snyder

Lillian May Snyder, 92, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, formerly of Mason City died Sunday (January 4, 2004) at the Good Samaritan Center, St. Croix Falls. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 329 East State Street, with Rev. Paul Finger officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, and continue at the church one hour before services. Memorials may be given to the Lillian May Snyder Memorial Fund. Lillian was born August 22, 1911 in Milnor, North Dakota the daughter of Albert and Matilda (Olson) Brunsvold. She graduated from Lake Mills High School. Lillian married Leslie J. Snyder December 7, 1930 in Mason City. She was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for 54 years and was a member of the Esther Circle. Lillian was also a member of Eastern Star, White Shrine and enjoyed playing bridge and dancing. Lillian is survived by 2 sons, Duane L. Snyder and wife Matina of Athens, Greece, Rev. Marlin E. Snyder and wife Gretchen of St. Croix Falls, WI; 4 grandchildren, Lisa Snyder Dalke, Leslie Duane Snyder, Cindy Snyder and Shelley Mitchell; 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 2 grandchildren.
