BREMEN, GEORGIA: Lucile Frances Alitz Houck, 92, Greystone Drive, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 in Bremen. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth. There will be no visitation. The family requests memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Bremen, 321 Hamilton Avenue, Bremen, Georgia, 30110 or Tanner Hospice Care, P.O. Box 1136, Carrollton, Georgia, 30122. Mrs. Houck was born April 15, 1914 in Mason City the daughter of John D. and Lena (Memker) Alitz. She was a retired bookkeeper of Central School System in Van Horne, Iowa and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bremen. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Dr. Lloyd ?Gil? Jones of Bremen, Georgia; 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Scott of Jackson, Michigan and Jacqueline Jones of Bremen; 1 great-grandchild, Joshua T. Jones of Bremen; 2 sisters, LoRee Kulhavy of Mason City and Marjorie Hansen of Tacoma, Washington; 1 brother, Harlan Alitz and wife Iris of Mason City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald W. Houck; brothers, William Alitz, Leroy Alitz and Milton ?Bud? Alitz and a sister, Inez Holmes.
