Maree F. Dickman, 94, of 1037 19th St. SW, died Friday (August 20, 2004) at the IOOF Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 1217 6th Avenue, Mountain Lake, Minnesota with Rev. Thomas Healey, Chaplain, Hospice of North Iowa officiating. Interment will be in Mountain Lake Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church, Mountain Lake or Hospice of North Iowa. Maree was born May 17, 1910 in Butterfield, Minnesota the daughter of John and Anna (Niessen) Harder. She attended schools in Butterfield. Maree married John Dickman February 14, 1941 in St. James, Minnesota. Following their marriage, they moved to Mountain Lake where they owned and operated Dickman?s Cold Storage Locker Plant. She retired in 1975. Maree moved to Mason City in 1995. She was a charter member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mountain Lake and a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, music and traveling. Maree is survived by her daughter, Marilynn Eilers and husband Dick of Mason City; 2 grandchildren, Julie Maree Eilers of Kansas City, MO, John D. Eilers of Springfield, MO; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; god-mother of Patricia Harder Pingeon. Maree is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, Jon, 2 brothers, Franklin and Dale Harder, 1 sister, Kathryn Hunt.
