Margaret H. Ohotto

Margaret H. Ohotto, 87 of the Rockwell Care Center, died Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the Rockwell Care Center. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Pastor Tom Healey, St James Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Rockwell Care Center. Margaret was born August 11, 1917 in Mattoon, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Grace (Gowdy) Wade. She graduated from Mattoon High School and went on to become a Licensed Practitioner Nurse. Margaret worked at the Littlefork, Minnesota Municipal Hospital for 40 years. She retired in 1982. Margaret also sold Avon products for 40 years. She received the Presidents Club award many times with Avon. In 1996, Margaret moved to Mason City to be near her son and his family. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret is survived by 2 sons, Ervin F. Ohotto and wife Kathy of St. Peter, Minnesota, Ronald Ohotto and wife Juanita of Mason City; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and granddaughter, Stephanie Ohotto.
