Marian A. Kuhl, 86, of 1319 S. Virginia Avenue, died Sunday (February 8, 2004) at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Bill Poland, Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Bear Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Grand Meadow, Minnesota. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of North Iowa or Hospice of North Iowa. Marian was born August 20, 1917 in Mankato, Minnesota the daughter of Walter and Mathilda (Huettl) Roos. She married Stanley Kuhl January 18, 1942 in Rosemount, Minnesota. The Kuhl?s moved to Mason City in 1947. Marian was a member of the Mason City Faculty Wife?s Club and an avid Mason City Mohawk fan. She and her husband followed Mohawk sports for years and most recently enjoyed watching their grandson play hockey. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, pets and loved her family dearly. Marian is survived by her husband of 62 years, Stanley Kuhl of Mason City; 4 children, Steve Kuhl (Sandy) of Mounds View, MN, Larry Kuhl (Mardiann) of Mason City, Lynne Smith (Robin) of Mill Valley, CA, Scott Kuhl (Mary Jo) of Mason City; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nephew, Tom Roos of Miramar Beach, FL. Marian was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers
