Marian Haveker

Marian E. Haveker, 88, of 200 2nd St. NE, died Monday, October 16, 2006 at Good Shepherd Health Center. Marian Elizabeth Kramer was born February 20, 1918 in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of Leon and Regina B. (Connolly) Kramer. She attended Hamilton College and worked as a bookkeeper for 40 years for Mason City Iron and Metal. She married Russell B. Haveker on July 27, 1947 at St. Paul, Minnesota. He preceded her in death in 1981. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Marian was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She very much enjoyed traveling and was an avid bridge player. Marian donated her body to science and there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. Those wishing to remember her may do so with donations to Hospice of North Iowa.
