Marion June Dearmin

Marion June Dearmin, 91, of Mason City, IA, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the Heritage Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 507 S. Carolina Avenue, with Pastor Curtis DeLong officiating. Interment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the church service. Memorials may be directed to the First Church of the Nazarene. Marion was born June 20, 1923, in Mason City, the daughter of Clarence A. and Laura G. (Larson) Dearmin. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1942. Marion enjoyed her job at Norwest Bank, where she worked as a bookkeeper for 40 years before her retirement in 1984. She also enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening, visiting with her many friends, and eating at Bonanza with her best friend, Dorothy Heinold. Marion was a lifelong member of the Calvary Alliance Church where she was also Treasurer. She was a supporter of many missions and missionaries. Marion is survived by many friends and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; special cousin: Dorothy Ann Phillips; and aunt: Doris Pixley.

Cemetery:
Interment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the First Church of the Nazarene.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the church service.
