Marge was born February 13, 1928, in Coleville, Iowa, the daughter of Clifford and Hazel (Jordison) Enfield. She attended Fort Dodge Schools. On May 20th, 1949, she was united in marriage to Wayne Vath. The Lord blessed Wayne and Marge with two children; Bonnie (Vath) Harden and Clifford Vath. Her life career was being a wife, mother and grandmother but she also sold AVON for 20 years. She thoroughly enjoyed meeting with her customers.
At the age of 59 Marge accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Marge was a member of Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed the choir and helping with the cookies every year at Vacation Bible School. Her faith in Christ saw her through may joy and sorrows. Marge and Wayne enjoyed camping and traveling in their retirement years and spent many winters in Gulf Shores, Alabama, summers “up north” at Woman Lake, and in-between times on various cruises. However, being home with family was very important to Marge and she thoroughly enjoyed the Green Bay Packers football season and the parties that accompanied them.
Marge is survived by her 2 children: Bonnie Harden and husband Elmer and Cliff Vath and wife Sheryll all of Mason City; 5 grandchildren: Stacey Ryal (Jeremy) and Shayne Skellenger (Jennifer) both of Mason City, IA, Holly Vath of New Ulm, MN, Andrew Harden (Lisa) of Dubuque, IA, and Ashley Wilson (Bryan) of Council Bluffs, IA; 7 great grandchildren: JP & Tabitha Ryal and Chloe & Parker Skellenger, all of Mason City, IA, Isaac Harden of Dubuque, IA and Hannah and Harper Wilson of Council Bluffs, IA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings and many of his best friends. In her last days she was holding tight to her faith in Jesus Christ.
