Brooklyn, New York: Marsha E. Paske, 58, of Brooklyn, New York, formerly of Mason City, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 17, 2011, at Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, New York from complication of pneumonia. A Memorial Celebration will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Upon Marshas wishes she was cremated and a gathering of friends and family will be held one hour prior to the celebration at the funeral home on Tuesday. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Marsha E. Paske memorial fund in care of the family. Marsha was born September 26, 1952 in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Wallace and Mardella (Parker) Paske. She was baptized into the life of Jesus Christ at the Gatchel United Methodist Church, Des Moines, IA. She graduated from Mason City High School, NIACC, and Mankato State University, and at the time she was hospitalized, she was employed by a prestigious wine and spirits importing firm, Chatham Imports of Manhattan, New York. She enjoyed living in New York City and took advantage of everything that the city had to offer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by one brother, Lance (Linda) Paske of Mason City; nephew, Aaron Paske of Northwood, IA and one niece Leah (Adam) Kreuger of Mason City; one great-nephew, Kaidyn and one great-niece Adisyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
