Mary F. (Scheef) Luetjens

Gladstone, MO Mary F. (Scheef) Luetjens, age 82, of Gladstone, MO (formerly of Albert Lea, MN and Mason City, IA) died Friday, March 12, 2010. Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday (March 19, 2010) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Jim Stiles of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Upon her wishes she was cremated and there will be no visitation. Inurnment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Mary F. Luetjens memorial fund in care of the family.

Mary is survived by her sister, Dixie Krause of Alden, IA; son, William Furnish of Gladstone, MO; daughter, Virginia Sullivan and son-in-law, Kevin Sullivan, of Crystal River, FL; grandchildren, Robert, William, and Elizabeth Furnish; nephew, Steven Krause.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arther & Frances Scheef; husband, Harold Luetjens; brother, Larry Scheef; sister-in-law, Terri Scheef; brother-in-law, Walter Krause.
Mary will be most remembered for her kindness, her love of life, and devotion to her family and friends.
